What this service is

Stock Alert Line publishes general market information and commentary by email and text message. It is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and it is not registered as any of those with the SEC, FINRA, or any state. Nothing we publish is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or an offer to do either. We do not know your finances, your goals, or your risk tolerance, and nothing we send accounts for them.

Investing involves risk, including the loss of everything you put in. Any past performance mentioned — ours, an analyst's, or a partner's — does not predict future results. Every decision you make with your money is yours. Consider speaking with a licensed professional before acting on anything you read here.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to subscribe.

Your account and conduct

You agree to give accurate information, to subscribe only phone numbers and email addresses you personally control, and not to subscribe anyone else. You agree not to scrape the site, resell or redistribute our content commercially, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Our content

Everything on this site and in our messages — text, design, graphics, logos, and the Stock Alert Line name and marks — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read it, print it, and forward an individual issue to a friend. You may not republish it, sell it, or use it to train a machine-learning model without our written permission.

Advertising and third parties

Our messages contain paid promotions and affiliate links, and we earn money when you respond to them. See our disclosures for the details. Third-party sites we link to are not ours: we do not control them, do not endorse everything on them, are not responsible for their content, claims, products, or privacy practices, and any dealing you have with them is between you and them.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Market data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Messages can be delayed or fail to arrive. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stock Alert Line and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or investment losses, arising from your use of the service — including any decision you make based on something we published. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. Some states do not allow these exclusions, so parts may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like — reply STOP to a text, or unsubscribe from an email. We may suspend or end your access at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these terms. The sections on content, warranties, liability, and indemnity survive.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above will change, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the update.
